What Supplies Will I Need?
Please don’t feel overwhelmed by the supply list. You can start with a small set of basics and build as you go. Many students like to watch the lessons first, then gather supplies based on what inspires them most.
Substrates
- Watercolour paper (300gsm or heavier)
- Watercolour or mixed media sketchbook
Paints & Mediums
- Watercolour paints (tubes or pans) and/or acrylic ink
- White gouache, white acrylic ink, or a white paint pen for finishing touches
- Collage adhesive (e.g. gel medium or a glue stick)
Brushes & Tools
- A few round and flat brushes in different sizes
- Palette, water container, paper towel
- Masking tape
- Palette knife, old credit card, or Catalyst blade for scraping
- Texture tools such as skewers, craft knives, or old cards
Mark-Making & Collage Supplies (Choose a selection from below)
- Water-soluble crayons, pencils, oil pastels, or paint pens
- Micron pens, Posca pens, graphite pencil

No, not at all. I encourage you to adapt the supplies to suit your experience, budget, and what you already have at home.
You’ll see me using materials I love, but you don’t need to match them exactly. My teaching style is friendly and flexible. It’s not about having the perfect tools—it’s about exploring, experimenting, and making the process your own.
Many students find it helpful to watch the lessons first, then decide which supplies and techniques they’d like to explore. Each class includes its own supply list inside the classroom.
Do I need high-speed internet?
Yes, you’ll need a good internet connection to stream or download the video content inside this bundle.
Why are your classes priced in USD if you’re based in Australia?
I price my classes in USD because most of my students are international, and USD provides a consistent currency across different countries. The teaching platform I use is US based, and some payment gateways and features only work when the school is set to USD. Your bank or PayPal will convert the amount to your local currency at checkout, and if you’d like an estimate before purchasing, you can check a converter such as xe.com.
Is there an online community?

What is the refund policy?
